(6)Setting the time

Aging. You can view the growth of trees in your garden over a period of years. However, due to the nature of the growth simulation you cannot simply pick a date 10 years in the future and see the results. The trees in your garden grow little by little and after watching their progress step by step you will be able to see how they turn out in 10 years. This is a result of the various calculations that need to be made on a step-by-step basis.

As a result of the complexity of the calculations that need to be made you may find that your computer needs a lot of thinking time if you set a date far into the future.

The setting of seasons and time is calculated separately from the aging of trees and does not require such intensive computer processing. You can see how the garden looks in a certain season or at a certain time of day without any such delays.

The '1 minute' setting determines how much time passes in the virtual garden for each minute of real time. For example, on this screen we have set one minute of real time to equal 8 hours of time in the virtual garden.

You can also set the weather.
